Paddle: Dedham to Flatford (returning to Dedham)

Distance: 2 miles each way
This flat water (club activity) paddle is aimed at those paddlers who are now looking to move out of the pool and onto the river for their first time, but is also ideal for anyone who is also looking for a nice, relaxing, leisurely Sunday paddle along the scenic river Stour stopping for lunch in the heart of picturesque Constable Country, the home of England's most famous painter.
Anyone not paddling can still join the group by casually strolling along the river bank footpath.
Equipment: Buoyancy Aid / PFD, suitable clothing, light refreshments / snacks / drinks, sun cream, anti bacterial gel.

All under 18 yrs must be accompanied by a responsible adult. This appointed person must bring along their completed 'Responsible Adult' form and hand it to the trip coordinator. (Click the link or visit the BCC website for further details).
Note: This car park does get very busy in the summer months hence the earlier than normal start time. There is a cost of £4.00 for parking all day.
